So you have decided to get a home loan!

What now? Whichever lender you decide to go with they will ask for a certain amount of information. Although it does vary a bit between lenders here is a list of the usual items -

* 2 payslips from within the last 6 weeks

* last 2 years group certificates

* details of any debts that you would like to include (mainly if refinancing) i.e. credit card statements, personal loans etc.

There can be other items and information required by the lender depending on the type of loan, although getting the above list of things organised will get you off to a good start to get the loan approved quickly.
